I read the perfect comments on a scripture yesterday that really helped me…I just have to absorb it into my character. Psalm 31:14-15 “But I trust in you, O Lord; I say “You are my God.” My times are in your hands…”.
The comments I read were: “David was expressing his belief that all of life’s circumstances are under God’s control. Knowing that God loves and cares for us enables us to keep steady in our faith regardless of our circumstances.”
It commented that this should keep us from acting foolishly by taking matters into our own hands or resenting God’s timetable. I need this, to remember all things are in His control and take place according to His timing.
Here is a quote over the door in my scrapbook room. Obviously I know myself pretty well, I need to remain calm in everything, no matter what the circumstances or how slow I think things are moving...
